Kits Sports Center: Staff

Tony DiJohn - Athletic Operations Director
Tony is in his fourth year at Kits Sports Center as the Athletic Operations Manager. Prior to taking this position Tony had been in the grocery industry for the past fifteen years as a sales manager/purchasing agent. He has lived in the community since 1987 and has been active in the Lake Zurich Soccer Association and the Ela Soccer Club as both a coach and board member. In the past, Tony has worked part-time for Kits Sports Center focusing on Kits youth Basketball Programs. Tony's love of coaching will bring continued growth to Kits Sports Center.

Jill Cornell - Assistant Athletic Manager
This summer, Jill began her fourth year at Kits Sports Center as the Assistant Athletic Manager. Prior to accepting the position at Kits, Jill completed her master degree in Parks and Recreation Administration. Jill previously worked as a summer camp counselor at Kelly's camp and most recently managed the Intramural Sports and Programming for the Central Michigan University Campus Recreational Services. Jill will be instrumental in executing our youth programs, executing our basketball and volleyball programs and developing new programs for Kits Sports Center.

Tom Chmela - Soccer Camp Director
Tom has been coaching since 1976, including a time as assistant coach for the NCAA Division I powerhouse Eastern Illinois University Men's Team. Coach Chmela holds a U.S.S.F. National Coach "B" License, a Brazilian National License and AYSO Intermediate License. Tom will be the Camp Director of the Tom Chmela and Kits Sports Center Outdoor Summer Soccer Camps.
